How Karen Toyoshima is Advocating for Animal Welfare (With Paleo Pet Meals)

In Episode 2 of People of Paleo: The Series, we feature Karen Toyoshima who is a member of 3 pet organizations, one of which is the Pawssion Project where they rescue, rehabilitate and rehome abused, abandoned and neglected animals. The goal of these organizations is to help and provide a better life for stray animals and this is possible because of people with the same advocacies as Karen.

Along with our meetup with Karen, she also brought her dogs for us to meet! We have Nutella who’s half Chao Chao and half Japanese Spitz; and Mackoy, another one of her adorable doggos who’s 4 years old and was actually the last of their litter. Karen says that she’s adopted her dogs from one of her college best friends and has loved and nurtured them ever since. She opened her home to them and made sure to keep them safe and healthy. To do this, she makes sure she’s providing them with our Paleo Pet meals– the healthy and best option for her pups!

Karen's Advocacy of Rescuing and Nurturing Animals

In this series, Karen gladly walked us through her and her pups’ experiences in using our Paleo Pet meals. She described it to be delicious, seeing as if she tasted it herself. She absolutely loved how our meals are a human-grade product which is also the detail that’s struck her the most. Her first impressions as well on Paleo Pet as a brand were really good in a way that it was aesthetically pleasing and welcoming to a customer like her and made her want to browse through what we can offer to her and her furbabies. She also tells us how she adores Paleo Pet for sponsoring their recent deployment and how Paleo Pet agreed without hesitation– because we love gathering as one community of people whose goals are to help out and make the world better for every person and animal.

Karen, as an advocate, absolutely loves how she can provide this safe, healthy, and scrumptious option for her pets because she’s confident that it’ll keep them happy, active and bright.
